The AirCard^® 597E wireless modem is Sierra Wireless's first ExpressCard product, supporting Notebook PCs with the new industry standard ExpressCard/34 and ExpressCard/54 slots.

Leveraging the latest high-speed EV-DO Revision A technology, the Sierra Wireless AirCard 597E provides wide area wireless data access at speeds up to 3.1 Mbps on the downlink and 1.8 Mbps on the uplink.

A sleek, stylish solution, the AirCard 597E features a fixed, internal antenna with no moving parts, high strength plastics and a sleek low profile industrial design for maximum ruggedness and reliability.

The AirCard 597E for EV-DO Revision A networks is scheduled to launch with mobile operator customers in Q2 2007.
